Casting Crowns Video

I saw this Casting Crowns video on LeAnn's blog and it's pretty cool. It's the one to the right with the glowing cross. I really enjoyed watching it.

Vacation Bible School

The one thing I love the most about VBS is being able to share the love of Jesus with the kids. The second thing I love is being able to show Gods love by feeding all the kids at VBS. You've heard about Jesus feeding the 5000, well we've not had quite that many but praise the Lord we always have enough food and everybody goes home full!

Vacation Bible School

This week was VBS at our church. So exciting! The theme is Outrigger Island. All the kids seem to be enjoying it and so do the adults. I got some pics of our kids doing crafts. We've had a really great turn out all week!

One hail of a day

The other day I was just hangin out at home and I hear what sounds like somebody throwing golf balls on the roof of the house. I knew Cannon was asleep so it took me a second to figure out what I was hearing. Well it turns out Cannon wasn't asleep and we have the headboard to his twin bed leaned up against the wall beside his crib and he was banging it against the wall. That was still not the golf ball sound. Cannon stopped what he was doing and I heard the rain so I looked out the window and I saw hail falling from the sky, rolling off the roof and hitting the front porch. It was coming from all directions. It was raining so hard I almost expected to see the Ark floating down the street. Word of advice, Ice falling from the sky hurts when it hits you anywhere!

More July 4th pics

Our family and friends on July 4th

We had a great time, we did a little swimming, a little visiting, a lot of eating and when it got dark we went for a ride in the boat down the lake to watch the fireworks. They were really good and the spot on the lake where we were we had fireworks going off all around us. We enjoyed every minute of it!

Our 4th of July

We had a wonderful 4th of July this year. We went to Nana and Pawpaw's house and went swimming and grilled burgers and hot dogs and in honor of Aunt Erin we had grilled squash, corn on the cob, cucumbers and tomatoes all fresh from the garden! Boy howdy what a meal.
We are so very greatfull to all the men and women overseas who are risking their lives so that we can enjoy these freedoms here.
